A Fine Day For Sailing
December 22, 2006 at 11:30 pm | In Fun Times, Memories | 11 Comments
Last Saturday after the Christmas Boat Parade we took the boat out for a little sailing and hopefully whale watching. Unfortunately I guess we were a little early because we didn’t see any marine life this trip out. Oh well the sailing was a lot of fun though. Out of the 12 crew invited only Jake and Beca were brave enough to face the elements with us. Here is a little video I put together to give you a taste for what its like. Be gentle its my first time using iMovie and trying to post a video to the web.
Enjoy!

What a great time. The sea is amazing. It always makes me feel close to God because of its strange combination of serenity and power.

Aw, Jim, I am so sorry we missed this trip. Although I am the biggest chicken and probably would have been white-knuckling it the entire time, still it looked so exciting! Your video had me cracking me up because that music…it was like impending doom. I kept waiting for a humongous wave to crash over, or a shark siting or something. Geez. Must be my overactive imagination.

Sounds like you had a great time Jim.
I’m Blog Hopping. I have started with one blog, followed a link from that blog to the next blog to the next blog leaving comments until I’ve finish surfing to 20 blogs. I thought this would be a great way to find some new blogs to read and see where my travels take me. I’ll be recording them on my blog.

Okay dad, Really it’s time to say something new. It’s not like life has been boring around here. There was christmas, my birthday, the living desert, new years, Jonathan’s visit…so much has been done and yet stay quiet. Stop thinking you can’t write if its not impressive because then you’ll never write.
Love you,
